Beaded Flower Newsletter!

Did You Know?
Immortelle (pronounced i-mor-'tel) jewelry and wreaths are often fashioned from beaded flowers, hairweaving and in the case of jewelry, jet beads. A search in ebay of "mourning wreath" or "mourning jewelry" will bring up a wealth of examples.

Linda Sampson, a New Orleans artist specializes in immortelle art often incorporating beaded flowers into her work. Linda creates altar installations at a New Orleans Hotel for St. Joseph's Day (March 19) and All Saints Day (November 1) incorporating her beaded flowers and wreaths.

Web Site Changes
You'll notice that the home page has been redesigned to make it easier to get to the category you want. Let me know what you think . . . comments, suggestions, etc.

There's also a change in how the shopping cart handles shipping. Since shipping is based on the weight of your order, it's much easier to add the correct charge after your order has been packed and weighed. This way you'll be charged the correct amount with no refunds or extra charges required. Most orders will fit into a United States Postal Service flat rate envelope which is $3.85 to anywhere in the US. You only pay for shipping exactly what it costs for me to mail the order to you, no extra handling charges.

If you have any questions just ask!
