Christmas Beading!

It's about that time to think about beading Christmas decorations and gifts. Start now and you can have a beautiful beaded wreath in time for the holidays. I started making leaves a few weeks ago and will post pictures of the assembly once I get there.

Make leaves with a 9 bead basic, 13 rows, pointed top, round bottom. Or you can vary the sizes. You'll need at least 70 leaves for a small wreath. Twist the leaves together in groups of three. Then attach the leaves to a wire ring. Add a bow from one of the beautiful ribbons available in craft and sewing stores and you have a beautiful beaded wreath. For additional color, add a beaded poinsettia or three.

Berry Wreath made in 2007.
