To make these beautiful dessert plates, Kris first taped the frames in
the areas where the flowers were to be placed. The flowers
and leaves were wired onto the frame with inexpensive 30 gauge wire.
The flower stems were just short pieces of 16 gauge floral wire,
leftover remnants from other projects. The handles were taped
again to cover the wire and then wrapped with
fabric strips about 1/2 wide cut on the bias with a rotary cutter.
